Dream Meets Reality 02/15/2004 - 2:48 a.m. Music : Life's Like a Movie by the Muppets Mood : content with a loveless V-Day Random Proclamations from Me, Myself, and I : ?? V-Day... it worked for me Suprisingly it was a good day. I saw '50 First Dates' and thought it was one of Sandler's best works. After that I watched a marathan of old British tv shows: Fawlty Towers, Mr. Bean, and Wallace and Gromit. Then I finished off tonight with 'The Pelican Brief'. Who said V-Day couldn't be enjoyable by yourself. I sure made that statement wrong. "Thanks to the Lovers, the Dreamers, and You." 0 comments so far |
"When it was over, all I could think about was how this entire notion of oneself, what we are, is just this logical structure, a place to momentarily house all the abstractions. It was a time to become conscious, to give form and coherence to the mystery, and I had been a part of that. It was a gift. Life was raging all around me and every moment was magical. I loved all the people, dealing with all the contradictory impulses - that's what I loved the most, connecting with the people. Looking back, that's all that really mattered." -Waking Life Profile Notes Diaryland Archives |
